Today, I went crazy and spent over $200 on knitting supplies. This does not include the $50 I spent earlier this week on Knitpicks.com. I don’t regret any of my purchases today. I do regret some from earlier this week. I do love living by the “warehouse” for Purlsoho.com. The women there are really helpful when, but they also leave you alone to just look and feel the yarns. So many wonderful yarns. One day I will go to New York to the real store.  

Now to explain my purchases.

I’m trying to build my needle collection. All of my DPs are either bamboo or Harmony wood. I really wanted rosewood but they didn’t have any so I got the ebony needles.

I also decide I wanted to learn how to spin my own yarn. Now I know I must be going crazy.  Just what I need another hobby that I will spend a lot of money on.  But I couldn’t get this thought out of my head so I got a drop spindle. Its very pretty.

Then I saw they had Anzula’s For Better or Worsted yarn. I love Anzula’s Squishy yarn which is a fingering weight. For Better or Worsted is the same blend just in a Worsted weight. So happy. I love this hand dyed yarn. The color is violet. This will be turned in a shawl. 

And of course I couldn’t walk away with out some sock yarn so I can finally learn how to knit 2 at a time toe up socks. 

Okay now I cant spend any more money on knitting this month.
